One afternoon while walking around the hamlet of Bikuni in the Shakotan district of Hokkaido, my friend and I happened upon a cemetery. Naturally, we decided to investigate. The place was calm and beautiful, as per most cemeteries, but a large unkindness of ravens were watching us the whole time. There were dozens of them, hundreds, perching on every grave and post and powerline, shifting like some gauze-y smoke around us.
It made us feel a little uneasy, so we left. (But not without getting a few pictures of the fellows.)
I’ve been talking about Earthbound so much, I thought I’d do a comic to back up all that talk. There was a cool feature in the game where you could play more after Giygas is defeated…that was kinda what I was thinking about here, just a group of friends, running around at night, celebrating, enjoying life.
This is what it’s like to see the world through my glasses. (Not really.)
